INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION-  DECEMBER 2012 
The next 2 weeks will feature active learning of the Industrial Revolution. As students set sail into this journey here are a few classroom power points & documents students may find of use at home.

Day 4—Pass out: 
1) Documents,
2) Docu analysis WS; 
3) explain web use, text book for additional material.
In groups students will do the readings provided (take pics of docs w/ phones.)

FRIDAY December 14, 2012
Day 5—
1) Intra group peer edit w/ objective of creating a consensus first draft for Chapter. 
2) Use Orwell's 4 questions you peer edit.
2) Make sure each groups explores relevance of each topic & why it’s important to 15-16 year old in Torrance.

How about the Super Group Challenge? Is your class going for it?


If groups could, magically through awesome GROUP effort, not only edit 2nd Draft but also COLLECTIVELY format project into Final Product and ALL members bring copies to class on MON for final review, then we can start to present your Group Project to class on Tuesday instead of Wednesday.

This means presentations will be TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY.
This would leave Friday for… Hmmm?
Well, you missed the Halloween Sub… want to miss the tradition on Friday?
IF NOT, we need to be committed SUPER GROUPS & start presenting AMAZING stuff on Tuesday.
